Kinocut runs on your computer

The Kinocut software (CLI, Python library, MCP server and agent plugins) processes video and audio files on your machine. Kyanite Labs does not receive your media, prompts, file names or outputs.

No accounts, no telemetry

Kinocut has no sign-in and sends no usage data to Kyanite Labs.

Network use

Installing or first launching Kinocut downloads the package from PyPI or npm, under those services’ policies. Some optional features can call a third-party AI provider only if you configure your own key; data you send that way goes to that provider under its terms.

This website

kinocut.dev is served by Cloudflare, which may keep standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and delivery. The site uses no advertising or analytics trackers.
